Make the Connection
After leaving the military, Veterans may face a variety of mental health challenges, whether it’s been 10 days or 10 years since they served. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) wants every Veteran to know they are not alone, and they shouldn’t feel buried under the weight of it all because help is available.
To help reduce stigma and encourage Veterans to seek care, VA’s Office of Mental Health has launched a powerful new PSA campaign, “Make the Connection: One Step Forward.”
MakeTheConnection.net is a vital resource featuring hundreds of real stories from Veterans who have faced mental health challenges and found hope through care and support. By supporting this campaign, you help empower Veterans to access the care they deserve while fostering open conversations about mental health and strengthening the well-being of those who have served our country.
Anyone—Veterans, their loved ones, health care providers, individuals and groups who support Veterans in their community—can use these resources to learn more about the challenges many Veterans face and about the help that is available to them.
By posting these digital and static OOH PSA assets you are helping to remind Veterans that there is always a path forward, and that no one has to find it alone.
