Ready to Act

Every 10 seconds, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room in the U.S. For the 33+ million Americans, including 1 in 13 children, living with a life-threatening food allergy, one bite can change everything in an instant.

That’s why FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) has launched a new PSA campaign, Ready to Act, featuring award-winning actress and on-screen first responder Angela Bassett. The OOH PSAs emphasize the public service message: Emergencies don’t wait—immediate access to epinephrine can save lives.

Epinephrine is the only first-line treatment for anaphylaxis, a type of severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. But too many people lack access to epinephrine or hesitate to use it due to fear, cost, or lack of knowing they are having an allergic reaction.

FARE is the nation’s leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing food allergy advocacy, research, and education with a focus on health equity.

By posting these digital OOH PSA assets widely and often, you help raise life-saving awareness.
